Today's origami lesson is four hundred and ninety-five in the series. Today we will continue our series of modular projects. We are going to make a more traditional kusudama, or decorative ball. These are usually made up of flowers that are sewn together in rows and then tied together to create a ball that is hung up for decoration. You can really try to make these with lots of different flower designs. This one is a flower that also has an accent piece in the center. Kusudama take time and lots of paper but they are very beautiful. I was thinking I was going to make a couple for you guys here, but this one took too long for daily origami so I will need to save up some time to get another design together for you guys.
